Wonton Noodles
Method
Preparation and Cooking
- 1
Prepare the Filling
In a bowl, mix together ground pork, chopped green onions, soy sauce, minced garlic, and grated ginger until well combined.
- 2
Fill the Wontons
Take a wonton wrapper and place a teaspoon of the pork mixture in the center. Moisten the edges with water, fold the wrapper in half diagonally to form a triangle, and press to seal. You can also fold the corners of the triangle towards the top to create a 'hat' shape.
- 3
Heat the Oil
In a large pot or deep fryer, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 180°C (350°F).
- 4
Fry the Wontons
Carefully add wontons to the hot oil in batches and fry until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
- 5
Serve
Serve the crispy wonton noodles hot with sweet and sour sauce on the side for dipping.
