Method

Dough Preparation

  1. 1

    Activate Yeast

In a large mixing bowl, combine the warm water and sugar. Sprinkle the instant yeast over the top and let it sit for about 5 minutes until it becomes frothy.

  2. 2

    Combine Ingredients

Add the olive oil and salt to the yeast mixture. Stir to combine.

  3. 3

    Mix Dough

Gradually add the all-purpose flour to the mixture, one cup at a time, stirring until a dough begins to form.

  4. 4

    Knead Dough

Once all the flour is incorporated, knead the dough on a floured surface for about 8-10 minutes until it is smooth and elastic.

  5. 5

    Let Dough Rise

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.

Assembling the Giant Mini Pizzas

  1. 6

    Preheat Oven

Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C).

  2. 7

    Divide Dough

Once the dough has risen, punch it down and divide it into 4 equal portions.

  3. 8

    Roll Out Dough

Roll out each portion of dough on a floured surface into a large circle, about 12 inches in diameter.

  4. 9

    Transfer Dough

Transfer each rolled-out dough onto a greased baking sheet or pizza stone.

  5. 10

    Add Toppings

Spread a layer of shredded mozzarella cheese over each pizza base, followed by pepperoni, diced bell peppers, and olives.

  6. 11

    Season Pizzas

Sprinkle Italian seasoning over the top of each pizza.

  7. 12

    Bake Pizzas

Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.

  8. 13

    Cool and Slice

Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before slicing into wedges.
