Cooking Directions
- 1
Prepare the Redfish
Pat the redfish fillets dry with paper towels. Coat both sides with blackening seasoning.
- 2
Cook the Redfish
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned redfish fillets and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until blackened and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- 3
Make the Seafood Cream Sauce
In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and melt the butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and stir well.
- 4
Add Shrimp and Seasoning
Stir in the cooked shrimp, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Let the sauce simmer for about 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened. Stir in chopped parsley.
- 5
Assemble the Dish
On a plate, create a bed of cooked rice. Place a blackened redfish fillet on top and generously spoon the seafood cream sauce over the fish. Garnish with additional parsley if desired.
