Preparation Steps

  1. 1

    Cook the Noodles

Boil a large pot of water and cook the lo mein noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Pork

In a bowl, marinate the sliced pork with 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce, and a pinch of black pepper. Let it sit for about 15 minutes.

  3. 3

    Stir-Fry the Vegetables

In a large skillet or wok, heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and ginger, sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant. Add bell pepper, carrot, and green onions, stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until slightly tender.

  4. 4

    Cook the Pork

Add the marinated pork to the skillet, cooking for 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through.

  5. 5

    Combine Ingredients

Add the cooked lo mein noodles and bean sprouts to the skillet. Pour in the remaining soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Toss everything together over medium heat for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.

  6. 6

    Serve

Remove from heat, adjust seasoning with black pepper if desired, and serve hot.
