Prepare the Sauce

In a small bowl, whisk together the minced garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, water, salt, and black pepper until well combined. Set aside.

Season the Fish

Pat the gurnard fillets dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt, black pepper, and paprika.

Cook the Gurnard

Heat a plancha or cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. Add a tablespoon of olive oil. Once hot, place the gurnard fillets on the plancha and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the fish is cooked through and has a nice golden crust.

Serve

Plate the cooked gurnard fillets, drizzle with the prepared sauce, and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve immediately.
