Dough Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Dough

In a bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Make a well in the center, add yeast mixture and olive oil. Mix until a dough forms.

  2. 2

    Knead the Dough

Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 8-10 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour.

In a mixing bowl, combine ground lamb, cardamom, cumin, garlic, onion, salt, pepper, and parsley. Mix well and form into small patties.

  2. 4

    Cook the Kafta

Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the kafta patties for 5-7 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through.

Assemble the Pizza

  1. 5

    Shape the Dough

Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C). Roll out the dough on a floured surface to a pizza shape. Transfer to a baking sheet or pizza stone.

  2. 6

    Add Toppings

Spread the cooked kafta evenly over the dough. Sprinkle crumbled feta cheese on top.

  3. 7

    Bake the Pizza

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes until the crust is golden and the cheese is slightly melted.
