Chicken Preparation

Method

Preparation

1

Prepare the Chicken

Cut the boneless, skinless chicken breasts into strips, approximately 1 inch wide. Season the chicken strips with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.

2

Egg Mixture

In a bowl, whisk the egg until well beaten. Set aside.

Breading

3

Prepare Breading Station

In a shallow dish, add the all-purpose flour. In another shallow dish, mix the breadcrumbs with Parmesan cheese and paprika.

4

Coat the Chicken

Dredge each chicken strip first in the flour, shaking off any excess, then dip it into the egg mixture, and finally coat it with the breadcrumb mixture. Ensure each piece is fully coated.

Cooking

5

Heat Oil

In a large skillet, heat the cooking oil over medium heat until it reaches about 350°F (175°C).

6

Fry the Chicken Fingers

Carefully add the breaded chicken strips to the hot oil in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Fry for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.

7

Drain and Serve

Once cooked, transfer the chicken fingers to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
