Pulled Pork Preparation

1. Marinate the Pork

Rub the pork shoulder with jerk seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Place it in a slow cooker with garlic cloves, onion, and chicken broth. Cook on low for 8 hours or until tender.

2. Shred the Pork

Once cooked, remove the pork from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks. Return to the cooker to keep warm.

Slaw Preparation

3. Prepare the Slaw

In a large bowl, combine shredded green cabbage and grated carrot. In another bowl, mix mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper. Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture and toss to combine.

Rice and Peas Preparation

4. Cook Rice and Peas

In a pot, combine rice, kidney beans, coconut milk, water, thyme, and salt. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat, cover, and simmer for about 20 minutes until rice is cooked.

Bajan BBQ Sauce Preparation

5. Make the BBQ Sauce

In a bowl, mix together ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt to taste. Adjust seasoning as needed.

Garlic Bread Preparation

6. Prepare Garlic Bread
