Pulled Pork Preparation

Marinate the Pork
Rub the pork shoulder with jerk seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Place it in a slow cooker with garlic cloves, onion, and chicken broth. Cook on low for 8 hours or until tender.

Shred the Pork
Once cooked, remove the pork from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks. Return to the cooker to keep warm.
Slaw Preparation

Prepare the Slaw
In a large bowl, combine shredded green cabbage and grated carrot. In another bowl, mix mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper. Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture and toss to combine.

Cook Rice and Peas
In a pot, combine rice, kidney beans, coconut milk, water, thyme, and salt. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat, cover, and simmer for about 20 minutes until rice is cooked.

Make the BBQ Sauce
In a bowl, mix together ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt to taste. Adjust seasoning as needed.
