Cooking Instructions
- 1
Marinate the Ahi
In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, grated ginger, minced garlic, and lime juice. Place the Ahi tuna steaks in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Cover and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- 2
Prepare the Grill
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Make sure the grates are clean and lightly oiled to prevent sticking.
- 3
Grill the Tuna
Remove the Ahi from the marinade and season with salt and black pepper. Place the steaks on the grill and cook for about 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness is reached.
- 4
Garnish and Serve
Once cooked, remove the Ahi from the grill and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Slice the steaks and garnish with chopped green onions and toasted sesame seeds. Serve immediately.
