Swordfish Marinade

Grilled Vegetables (optional)

Method

Marinating the Swordfish

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, black pepper, and paprika.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Fish

Place the swordfish steaks in a large resealable plastic bag or shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the fish, ensuring they are well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for best flavor.

Grilling the Swordfish

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

  2. 4

    Prepare the Vegetables (Optional)

If using, toss the sliced zucchini, bell peppers, and red onion with olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Set aside.

  3. 5

    Grill the Swordfish

Remove the swordfish from the marinade and discard the marinade. Grill the steaks for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.

  4. 6

    Grill the Vegetables (Optional)

While the swordfish is grilling, add the vegetables to the grill and cook for about 3-4 minutes per side until tender and lightly charred.

  5. 7

    Serve

Remove the grilled swordfish and vegetables from the grill and serve hot with extra lemon wedges if desired.
