Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Walleye

Rinse the walleye fillets under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and black pepper.

  2. 2

    Heat the Pan

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and butter over medium-high heat until the butter is melted and starts to foam.

  3. 3

    Sauté the Garlic

Add the minced garlic to the pan and sauté for about 30 seconds, until fragrant. Be careful not to let it burn.

  4. 4

    Cook the Walleye

Carefully place the seasoned walleye fillets in the skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through.

  5. 5

    Finish with Lemon and Parsley

Once cooked, drizzle the lemon juice over the fillets and sprinkle with chopped parsley. Remove from heat.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve the sautéed walleye warm, garnished with additional parsley if desired.
