    Prepare the Glass

    Chill a martini glass by placing it in the freezer or filling it with ice water while you prepare the cocktail.

    Mix the Ingredients

    In a cocktail shaker, combine the vodka, dry vermouth, and ice cubes. Shake well until chilled.

    Strain and Serve

    Remove the ice from the chilled martini glass and strain the mixture from the shaker into the glass.

    Garnish

    Add 3 green olives to the cocktail as a garnish. Serve immediately.
