Omelette Ingredients

Method

Cooking Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Chop the applewood smoked bacon, onion, and green peppers. Remove the casing from the sausage and crumble it.

  2. 2

    Cook the Bacon and Sausage

In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Add the crumbled sausage and cook until browned. Remove both from the skillet and drain excess fat.

  3. 3

    Sauté the Vegetables

In the same skillet, add butter, then sauté the onions and green peppers until they are soft and translucent.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Egg Mixture

In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

  5. 5

    Cook the Omelette

Pour the egg mixture over the sautéed vegetables in the skillet. Cook until the edges begin to set, then gently lift the edges with a spatula to allow uncooked egg to flow underneath.

  6. 6

    Add Fillings and Cheese

Once the eggs are mostly set, add the cooked bacon, sausage, and American cheese evenly over one half of the omelette.

  7. 7

    Fold the Omelette

Carefully fold the omelette in half over the fillings and cook for an additional minute until the cheese melts.

  8. 8

    Serve

Slide the omelette onto a plate and serve hot.
