Prepare the Coffee
Brew the espresso or strong coffee and allow it to cool. If using coffee liqueur, mix it with the coffee.

Make the Mascarpone Mixture
In a large bowl, combine mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract. Whip until soft peaks form.

Dip Ladyfingers
Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the cooled coffee mixture, ensuring they are soaked but not soggy.

Layer the Ingredients
In a rectangular dish, arrange half of the soaked ladyfingers at the bottom. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.

Repeat the Layers
Repeat the process with the remaining ladyfingers and mascarpone mixture. Smooth the top with a spatula.

Chill
Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.

Before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder. Cut into squares and enjoy your delicious tiramisu!
