Preparation Steps

  1. 1

    Prepare the Sirloin

Season the sirloin steak with salt and pepper. Grill or pan-sear over medium-high heat for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked to your desired doneness. Let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

  2. 2

    Chop the Salad Ingredients

While the steak is resting, chop the romaine lettuce, grape tomatoes, cucumber, and red onion into bite-sized pieces. If using fresh street corn, grill or boil it until tender, then cut off the kernels.

  3. 3

    Make the Dressing

In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, red wine vinegar, chopped fresh herbs, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Salad

In a large bowl, combine the chopped romaine, grape tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, and street corn medley. Slice the rested sirloin and add it to the salad.

  5. 5

    Dress the Salad

Drizzle the herb oil and vinegar dressing over the salad and toss gently to combine. Adjust seasoning if necessary.
