Chapli Kebab
Method
Preparation
Prepare the Mixture
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef or lamb with chopped onion, minced garlic, grated ginger, chopped coriander, and finely chopped green chilies. Mix well.
Add Spices
Add cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, salt, black pepper, and the egg to the meat mixture. Mix until everything is well combined.
Bind the Mixture
Sprinkle the flour over the mixture and knead it lightly until it holds together. You can add a little water if it feels too dry.
Shape the Kebabs
Take small portions of the mixture and shape them into round, flat patties.
Fry the Kebabs
Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Once hot, add the kebabs in batches and fry until golden brown on both sides and cooked through, about 4-5 minutes per side.
Drain
Remove the kebabs from the oil and drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.
