Cooking Instructions
Prepare the Bacon
In a large skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove from the skillet and drain on paper towels. Once cooled, crumble into pieces and set aside.
Prepare the Chicken Cutlets
Pound the chicken breasts to about 1/2 inch thickness. Season with salt and black pepper. Set up a breading station with three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip in eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs.
Cook the Pasta
In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Make the Maple Cream Sauce
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the maple syrup and heavy cream. Stir and simmer for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
Assemble the Dish
On a plate, place a serving of pasta, top with a fried chicken cutlet, drizzle with the maple cream sauce, and finish with crumbled bacon and a sprinkle of parmesan cheese.
