Prepare the Coffee Mixture
In a shallow dish, combine the espresso coffee and coffee liqueur. Set aside to cool.

Make the Mascarpone Filling
In a mixing bowl, combine mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract. Whip until soft peaks form.

Soak the Lady Fingers
Dip each lady finger into the coffee mixture for about 2 seconds, ensuring they are soaked but not soggy. Lay them in a single layer in a 9x13 inch dish.

Layer the Tiramisu
Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the soaked lady fingers. Repeat with another layer of soaked lady fingers and the remaining mascarpone mixture.

Chill and Serve
Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight. Before serving, dust the top with unsweetened cocoa powder and garnish with grated dark chocolate if desired.
