Prepare the Broccoli Rabe
Rinse the broccoli rabe under cold water and trim the tough ends of the stems. If the leaves are large, you can chop them into smaller pieces.
Blanch the Broccoli Rabe
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the broccoli rabe and cook for about 2-3 minutes until bright green and tender. Drain and plunge into an ice bath to stop the cooking. Drain again and set aside.
Sauté the Garlic
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes. Sauté for about 1-2 minutes until the garlic is fragrant but not browned.
Finish with Lemon Juice
Remove from heat and drizzle with lemon juice. Toss again and serve warm.
