1. Cook the Linguini

In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the linguini according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

2. Sauté the Shrimp

In a large skillet over medium heat, heat the olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sautéing until fragrant (about 1 minute).

3. Add Shrimp

Add the shrimp to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook until they turn pink and opaque (about 2-3 minutes per side).

4. Deglaze with Wine

Pour in the white wine and lemon juice, scraping the bottom of the skillet to release any browned bits. Bring to a simmer and cook for about 3-4 minutes, allowing the sauce to reduce slightly.

5. Combine with Linguini

Add the cooked linguini to the skillet, tossing to coat in the sauce. Stir in the remaining butter and chopped parsley, mixing well.

6. Serve

Serve immediately, garnished with extra parsley and lemon wedges if desired.
