Prepare the Chicken
Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper. Dredge each breast in flour, shaking off the excess.

Cook the Chicken
In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add chicken breasts and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from skillet and keep warm.

Make the Sauce
In the same skillet, add the remaining olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute. Add chicken broth, lemon juice, and capers, and bring to a simmer.

Finish the Sauce
Reduce heat and let the sauce simmer for 5 minutes. Whisk in the remaining butter until melted and the sauce is smooth.

Cook the Pasta
In the meantime, cook the penne pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Combine and Serve
Return the chicken to the skillet with the sauce and let it simmer for another 2 minutes. Serve the chicken over the penne pasta, topped with the lemon butter sauce and capers, alongside the grilled asparagus.
