Cheesecake Ingredients

Method

Cheesecake Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the crust

Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C). In a mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Mix until the crumbs are well-coated. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form an even layer.

  2. 2

    Mix the cheesecake filling

In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add the sugar and mix until well combined. Add the sour cream, vanilla extract, and mix until smooth. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.

  3. 3

    Combine and bake

Pour the cheesecake filling over the crust in the springform pan. Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes or until the center is set and slightly jiggly. Turn off the oven and let the cheesecake cool in the oven with the door ajar for 1 hour.

  4. 4

    Chill and top

Refrigerate the cheesecake for at least 4 hours, or overnight. Once chilled, spread the cherry pie filling evenly on top of the cheesecake before serving.
