Prepare the mushrooms
Clean the cremini mushrooms and slice them thinly.

Sauté the mushrooms
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Then, add the sliced mushrooms, salt, black pepper, and fresh thyme. Sauté for about 8-10 minutes until the mushrooms are golden and tender.

Add cheese and truffle oil
Reduce the heat to low and stir in the fontina cheese until melted. Drizzle the truffle oil and mix well.
