Waffle and Eggs Ingredients

Method

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Waffle Batter

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt until well combined.

  2. 2

    Mix Wet Ingredients

In another bowl, beat the eggs, then add the milk and vegetable oil. Mix well.

  3. 3

    Combine Ingredients

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix; small lumps are okay.

  4. 4

    Preheat Waffle Iron

Preheat your Belgian waffle iron according to the manufacturer's instructions.

  5. 5

    Cook the Waffles

Pour enough batter into the preheated waffle iron to cover the surface. Close the lid and cook until golden brown, about 5 minutes. Repeat with remaining batter.

  6. 6

    Cook the Eggs

While the waffles are cooking, heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add butter and allow it to melt. Crack two eggs into the skillet and cook to your preference (sunny-side-up, over-easy, etc.).

  7. 7

    Serve

Dust the cooked waffles with powdered sugar. Serve the waffles with the cooked eggs and your choice of side dish.
