Shake the margarita
In a cocktail shaker, add tequila, fresh lime juice, triple sec and agave nectar (if using). Add a handful of ice (about 1 cup). Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds until the shaker is cold and slightly frosted.
- 3
Strain
Strain the shaken margarita into the prepared glass over fresh ice (or serve neat if preferred). Leave about an inch of headspace at the top to accommodate the finish of your choice.
Finish Options (choose one)
- 4
Melon Coronita finish (playful bottle-in-glass)
Open the mini Melon Coronita and invert it into the margarita, letting it rest inside the glass neck-up. The beer will slowly infuse and carbonate the drink as you sip. If you prefer not to invert, pour the beer slowly into the glass down the side so it layers gently. Garnish with a thin lime wheel or small melon wedge.
- 5
Strawberry Champagne finish (elegant & effervescent)
Gently pour 2 oz strawberry Champagne or sparkling wine into the glass. Pour slowly down the side to preserve some fizz and create a light effervescence. Garnish with a halved strawberry on the rim.
- 6
Mango Red Bull finish (bold & fizzy)
Top the margarita with 3 oz mango Red Bull (or desired amount) poured slowly down the side to retain carbonation. Stir gently once with a bar spoon to integrate. Garnish with a thin mango slice or lime wedge.
Serve
- 7
Serve immediately while effervescence is present. Provide a straw or leave without — sipping through the carbonation and watching the finish (especially the Coronita) is part of the experience. Drink responsibly.
