Method

Pasta Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Linguine

In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Shrimp and Sauce Preparation

  1. 2

    Sauté the Garlic

In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.

  2. 3

    Cook the Shrimp

Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until they turn pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove shrimp from the skillet and set aside.

  3. 4

    Prepare the Sauce

Pour the white wine into the skillet and bring to a simmer, scraping up any bits from the bottom. Allow the wine to reduce by half, about 3-4 minutes.

  4. 5

    Combine Ingredients

Stir in the lemon juice, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper. Return the shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. Add the cooked linguine to the skillet and toss until well combined.

  5. 6

    Finish with Parsley

Sprinkle chopped parsley over the dish and toss gently. Adjust seasoning with salt and black pepper if necessary.
