Method
Preparing the Protein
- 1
Cook Ground Beef
In a skillet over medium heat, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Once hot, add 250 grams of ground beef. Break it apart with a spatula and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- 2
Season Ground Beef
Once the beef is cooked, drain excess fat if necessary. Add 2 tablespoons of taco seasoning, salt, and pepper to taste. Stir well and let it simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- 3
Cook Chicken Breast
In the same skillet, remove any leftover beef and add 250 grams of chopped chicken breast. Cook for about 7-10 minutes until cooked through, stirring occasionally.
- 4
Season Chicken
Add taco seasoning, salt, and pepper to the cooked chicken. Stir and let it cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- 5
Prepare Black Beans
If using black beans, rinse and drain 1 cup of canned black beans. Heat in a small pot over medium heat until warmed through, about 5 minutes.
