Cooking Directions
- 1
Prepare the Batter
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, eggs, milk, and salt until smooth. Let the batter rest for at least 30 minutes.
- 2
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Place a muffin tin or Yorkshire pudding tray in the oven to heat up.
- 3
Add the Oil
Once the oven is hot, carefully remove the hot muffin tin and add 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil or beef drippings into each cup. Return the tin to the oven for a few minutes until the oil is very hot.
- 4
Pour in the Batter
Quickly pour the rested batter into the hot oil-filled cups, filling them about halfway.
- 5
Bake the Puddings
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the puddings have risen and are golden brown.
- 6
Serve
Remove from the oven and serve immediately with drippings from your roast.
