Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Ribs
Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs and pat them dry with paper towels.
- 2
Make the Rub
In a bowl, mix together brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Rub this mixture evenly over the ribs.
- 3
Slow Cook the Ribs
Place the ribs in a slow cooker. In a separate bowl, combine barbecue sauce, apple cider vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce. Pour the sauce mixture over the ribs.
- 4
Cook Time
Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours, or until the ribs are tender and the meat is pulling away from the bone.
- 5
Glaze and Serve
Remove the ribs from the slow cooker and brush with additional barbecue sauce. Optionally, broil in the oven for 2-3 minutes for a caramelized finish. Let rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
