Prepare the Otoro
Slice the Otoro into thick sashimi-style pieces, about 1 inch in thickness.

Sear the Otoro
Heat a non-stick skillet over high heat. Once hot, sear each piece of Otoro for about 30 seconds on each side until browned but still rare in the center.

Season
Remove the Otoro from the skillet, and lightly season with sea salt and black pepper.

Prepare the Plate
On a serving plate, arrange the baby kale in a bed. Drizzle with wakame oil.

Assemble
Place the seared Otoro on top of the baby kale. Drizzle with house soy sauce and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.

Serve
Serve immediately while the Otoro is warm.
