Fish Selection
Method
Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Fish
Start by ensuring all fish are fresh and properly cleaned. Use a sharp knife to slice each type of fish into thin sashimi-style pieces, approximately 1/4 inch thick.
- 2
Arrange the Sashimi
On a chilled serving plate, artistically arrange the slices of salmon, yellowtail, akami, chutoro, and sea bass. You can create sections for each fish or overlap them for a more vibrant presentation.
- 3
Serve
Serve immediately with soy sauce, wasabi, and pickled ginger on the side. Optionally, garnish with thinly sliced green onions or microgreens for added flavor and presentation.
