Prepare the Marinade
In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, rice vinegar, mirin, and sesame oil. Stir well until combined.

Sear the Salmon
Heat a skillet over high heat. Lightly sear the salmon fillet for about 30 seconds on each side, just enough to create a crust while keeping the inside rare. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.

Slice the Salmon
Once cooled, slice the salmon into thin strips, about 1/4 inch thick.

Plate and Serve
Arrange the salmon slices on a serving plate. Drizzle with the prepared marinade and sprinkle with sesame seeds and finely chopped green onions. Serve with wasabi and pickled ginger on the side.
