Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prep the Turkey

Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C). Remove the turkey giblets and pat the turkey dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

    Make Garlic Butter

In a bowl, combine softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, lemon juice from one lemon, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.

  3. 3

    Season the Turkey

Gently separate the skin from the turkey breast and rub half of the garlic butter mixture under the skin. Rub the remaining butter all over the turkey. Squeeze lemon juice from the second lemon over the top and place the lemon halves inside the cavity of the turkey.

  4. 4

    Roast the Turkey

Place the turkey in a roasting pan and drizzle with olive oil. Roast in the preheated oven for approximately 13-15 minutes per pound, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Baste the turkey every 30-45 minutes with the pan juices.

  5. 5

    Rest and Serve

Once cooked, remove the turkey from the oven and let it rest for at least 20 minutes before carving. Serve warm with the pan drippings.
