Cooking Instructions

1. Cook the Pasta

In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the penne pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

2. Grill the Shrimp

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the shrimp and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and are cooked through. Add minced garlic and sauté for an additional minute. Remove from skillet and set aside.

3. Make the Alfredo Sauce

In the same skillet, pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the shaved parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper. Cook for about 3-4 minutes until the cheese is melted and the sauce has thickened slightly.

4. Combine Ingredients

Add the cooked penne pasta, grilled shrimp, and cherry tomatoes into the skillet with the Alfredo sauce. Toss everything together until well combined and heated through.

5. Garnish and Serve

Remove from heat, sprinkle with fresh basil, and serve immediately. Optionally, garnish with additional parmesan cheese.
