1. Cook the Pasta
In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. Prepare the Sauce
In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the red onion and bell peppers, cooking until softened, about 5 minutes.
3. Add Sausage and Shrimp
Stir in the andouille sausage and shrimp, cooking until the shrimp is pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes.
4. Make Cheese Sauce

5. Combine Ingredients
