Pasta Preparation

Cook the Fettuccine
In a large pot of boiling salted water, add the fettuccine pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Grill the Chicken
Season the chicken breasts with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Remove from heat and let rest before slicing.

Make the Alfredo Sauce
In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
Combine and Serve

Combine Pasta and Sauce
In a large mixing bowl or pot, combine the cooked fettuccine with the Alfredo sauce, tossing to coat the pasta evenly.

Serve with Chicken
Slice the grilled chicken and lay it on top of the pasta. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
