Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Grill

Prepare a grill with hickory coals, allowing them to burn down until they are glowing red and covered with gray ash.

  2. 2

    Season the Salmon

Brush the salmon filet with olive oil and sprinkle Cajun seasoning evenly over both sides. Add fresh lemon juice for added flavor.

  3. 3

    Grill the Salmon

Place the seasoned salmon on the grill over the hickory coals. Grill for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the salmon is cooked through and has a nice blackened crust.

  4. 4

    Serve

Remove the salmon from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your Cajun-style blackened salmon!
