Chicken Tenders
Method
Preparation
Prepare the Chicken Tenders
1. In a bowl, combine flour, salt, and black pepper. In another bowl, whisk eggs. In a third bowl, place breadcrumbs. 2. Dip each chicken tender in the flour mixture, then in the egg, and finally coat with breadcrumbs. 3. Place the breaded tenders on a plate and refrigerate for 30 minutes to set the coating.
Fry the Chicken Tenders
4. Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet or fryer to 350°F (175°C). 5. Fry the chicken tenders in batches until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. 6. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Make the Dipping Sauce
7. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine honey, hot sauce, soy sauce, garlic powder, and rice vinegar. Stir until warmed through and well mixed.
Prepare the Buffalo Sauce
8. In another saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in hot sauce, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, and paprika. Simmer for 5 minutes and remove from heat.
Serve
9. Serve the chicken tenders with the sweet & spicy dipping sauce on one side and the Buffalo sauce on the other.
