Directions
- 1
Cook the Pasta
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the penne pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- 2
Grill the Chicken
While the pasta is cooking, season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper. Heat olive oil in a grill pan over medium heat. Grill the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side until cooked through. Remove from heat, let it rest for a few minutes, then cut into bite-sized pieces.
- 3
Make the Alfredo Sauce
In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- 4
Combine Everything
Add the drained pasta to the Alfredo sauce and toss to coat evenly. Add the grilled chicken pieces and toss gently to combine. If the sauce is too thick, add a little pasta water to reach the desired consistency.
- 5
Serve
Serve the Chicken Alfredo hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
