Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.

Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt until well combined.

Combine Mixtures
Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.

Bake the Cake
Divide the batter evenly between the prepared cake pans. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Allow the cakes to cool in the pans for 10 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely. Frost with your favorite cream cheese frosting if desired.
