Fudge Brownie

Method

Preparation

1

Prepare the Brownies

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9x9 inch baking pan with parchment paper.

2

Melt Butter and Mix Sugars

In a saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in granulated sugar and brown sugar until combined.

3

Add Eggs and Vanilla

Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

4

Combine Dry Ingredients

In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture.

5

Add Chocolate Chips

Fold in the chocolate chips and chopped pecans until evenly distributed.

6

Bake the Brownies

Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.

7

Cool and Portion

Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan, then cut into squares.

8

Assemble the Dessert

In a creme brûlée dish, place a brownie square at the bottom. Top with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream, drizzle with caramel and chocolate sauce, and sprinkle with extra chopped pecans.
