Method
Roast Beef
- 1
Prepare the Beef
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Pat the beef roast dry with paper towels. Rub the salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder evenly over the surface of the roast.
- 2
Sear the Roast
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the beef roast and sear on all sides until browned, about 3-4 minutes per side.

- 4
Rest the Roast
Once cooked, remove the roast from the oven and let it rest for at least 15 minutes before slicing.

- 5
Activate the Yeast
In a small bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.
- 6
Mix the Dough
In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt. Add the frothy yeast mixture and melted butter. Mix until a dough forms.
- 7
Knead the Dough
Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- 8
Let the Dough Rise
Place the kneaded dough in a lightly greased bowl, cover with a kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
- 9
Shape the Rolls
Punch down the risen dough and divide it into 12 equal pieces. Shape each piece into a ball and place them on a greased baking sheet.
- 10
Second Rise
Cover the rolls with a towel and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
- 11
Bake the Rolls
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake the rolls for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from the oven and let cool.
