Method
Prepare the Burger Patties
Form the Patties
In a mixing bowl, take 1 pound of ground beef and season with salt and pepper to taste. Divide the mixture into four equal portions and form each portion into a patty, making sure to create a small indentation in the center to prevent puffing during cooking.
Cook the Patties
Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on one side. Flip the patties, add a slice of Monterey Jack cheese on top of each patty, and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the patties reach desired doneness.
Prepare the Bacon and Onion Rings
Prepare the French Fries
Fry the French Fries
In a large pot or deep fryer, heat 2 cups of oil to 350°F (175°C). Add the 1 pound of frozen French fries in batches, frying them until they are golden and crispy, about 4-5 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels, then season with 1 teaspoon of salt.
