Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a medium bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, chopped rosemary, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to create a marinade.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Steak

Place the rib eye steaks in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Ensure the steaks are well coated. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or up to 24 hours for more flavor.

Grilling

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to high heat (about 450-500°F or 232-260°C).

  2. 4

    Grill the Steaks

Remove the rib eye steaks from the marinade and let any excess marinade drip off. Place the steaks on the hot grill. Grill for 4-6 minutes on one side until a nice crust forms.

  3. 5

    Flip and Finish Cooking

Flip the steaks and grill for an additional 4-6 minutes for medium-rare, or longer if desired. Use a meat thermometer to check for doneness (130°F or 54°C for medium-rare).

Serving

  1. 6

    Rest the Steaks

Once cooked to your liking, remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for 5-10 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute.

  2. 7

    Garnish and Serve

Sprinkle the grilled rib eye with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side for an extra burst of flavor.
