Method

Burger Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Mix gently with your hands until just combined.

  2. 2

    Form the Patties

Divide the mixture into two equal portions and form each portion into a patty about 3/4 inch thick.

  3. 3

    Cook the Patties

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Burger

While the patties are cooking, slice the tomato and onion. Once the patties are done, place each patty on a bun, top with lettuce, tomato, onion, and mayonnaise. Close the burger with the top bun.

French Fries Preparation

  1. 5

    Prepare the Potatoes

Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into thin strips to resemble French fries.

  2. 6

    Heat the Oil

In a deep fryer or a large pot, heat the vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).

  3. 7

    Fry the Potatoes

Carefully add the potato strips to the hot oil in batches. Fry for about 5-7 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.

  4. 8

    Drain and Season

Remove the fries with a slotted spoon and let them drain on paper towels. Sprinkle with salt while they are still hot.
