Burger Preparation

Prepare the Beef
In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Mix gently with your hands until just combined.

Form the Patties
Divide the mixture into two equal portions and form each portion into a patty about 3/4 inch thick.

Assemble the Burger
While the patties are cooking, slice the tomato and onion. Once the patties are done, place each patty on a bun, top with lettuce, tomato, onion, and mayonnaise. Close the burger with the top bun.
French Fries Preparation

Prepare the Potatoes
Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into thin strips to resemble French fries.

Heat the Oil
In a deep fryer or a large pot, heat the vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).

Fry the Potatoes
Carefully add the potato strips to the hot oil in batches. Fry for about 5-7 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.

Drain and Season
Remove the fries with a slotted spoon and let them drain on paper towels. Sprinkle with salt while they are still hot.
