Preparation

  1. 1

    Select and Wash Oranges

Choose 4 medium-sized oranges that are firm and slightly heavy for their size. Wash them under running water to remove any dirt or pesticides.

  2. 2

    Peel and Segment Oranges

Using a sharp knife, carefully peel the oranges. Remove as much of the white pith as possible. Segment the oranges by cutting between the membranes to release the orange slices into a bowl.

  3. 3

    Prepare Honey Drizzle

In a small bowl, measure out 2 tablespoons of honey. If the honey is too thick, you can warm it slightly in the microwave for about 10 seconds to make it easier to drizzle.

  4. 4

    Chop Mint Leaves

Rinse the mint leaves under cold water, then pat them dry with a paper towel. Stack the leaves, roll them tightly, and chop them finely.

Assembly

  1. 5

    Combine Ingredients

In a large serving bowl, gently toss the segmented oranges with the chopped mint leaves.

  2. 6

    Drizzle with Honey

Pour the prepared honey over the orange and mint mixture. Toss gently to coat the oranges evenly with the honey.

  3. 7

    Serve

Transfer the orange salad to a serving dish. Optionally, garnish with additional mint leaves on top, and serve immediately for a refreshing, sweet, and tangy delight.
