For the Crispy Chicken

Prepare the Chicken
Cut the chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces and set aside.

Make the Breading
In a bowl, mix together the flour, cornstarch, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.

Bread the Chicken
Dip each piece of chicken into the wet mixture, allowing excess to drip off, then coat in the flour mixture. Press gently to adhere.

Fry the Chicken
In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, fry the chicken pieces in batches until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per batch. Drain on paper towels.
For the Honey Garlic Sauce

Make the Sauce
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the honey, minced garlic, chopped habanero, chili flakes, and soy sauce. Stir well and let it simmer for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened.

Toss the Chicken
Once the chicken is fried and drained, place it in a large bowl and pour the hot honey garlic sauce over it. Toss well to ensure all pieces are coated.
