Method
Preparation
- 1
Marinate the Chicken
In a bowl, combine brown sugar, soy sauce, Sriracha sauce, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Stir until the sugar dissolves. Add the chicken breast and coat thoroughly. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- 2
Prepare the Garnish
While the chicken is marinating, chop the green onions finely and set aside. You can also prepare the optional sesame seeds and red pepper flakes.
Cooking
- 3
Sauté the Chicken
In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Remove the chicken from the marinade (reserve the marinade) and add it to the skillet. Cook for 5-7 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through.
- 4
Add the Marinade
Once the chicken is cooked, pour the reserved marinade into the skillet. Bring it to a simmer and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- 5
Serve
Slice the chicken and place it on a serving platter. Drizzle the thickened sauce over the chicken and garnish with chopped green onions. Optionally, sprinkle sesame seeds and red pepper flakes on top.
