Cream Cheese Wontons

Crispy Dumplings

Fried Rice or Chow Mein

Method

Chicken Entrees

  1. 1

    Prepare Chicken Marinade

In a bowl, mix soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, and honey. Add chicken breasts to marinade and let sit for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Cook Chicken

Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add marinated chicken and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side until cooked through. Garnish with sliced green onions before serving.

Cream Cheese Wontons

  1. 3

    Prepare Cream Cheese Filling

In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese and finely chopped green onion until combined.

  2. 4

    Assemble Wontons

Place a teaspoon of the cream cheese mixture in the center of each wonton wrapper. Moisten the edges with water and fold to seal.

  3. 5

    Fry Wontons

Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet or fryer. Fry wontons in batches until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.

Crispy Dumplings

  1. 6

    Prepare Filling

In a bowl, combine ground pork, shredded cabbage, minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Mix well.

  2. 7

    Assemble Dumplings

Place a tablespoon of filling on each dumpling wrapper. Moisten the edges with water, fold, and pinch to seal.

  3. 8

    Cook Dumplings

Heat a bit of oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry dumplings for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown. Add a splash of water, cover, and steam for another 3 minutes.

Fried Rice or Chow Mein

  1. 9

    Prepare Ingredients

If making fried rice, ensure rice is cold and clump-free. Chop carrots and green onions.

  2. 10

    Cook Fried Rice/Chow Mein

In a large skillet or wok, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add carrots and peas, sauté for 2-3 minutes. Push vegetables to the side, scramble eggs in the center, then mix everything together. Add rice and soy sauce, stir-fry until heated through.

Rice

  1. 11

    Cook Rice

Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear. In a pot, combine rice and water (2 cups of water for every cup of rice). Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 15-20 minutes until rice is tender and water is absorbed.
