1. Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper for easier removal of the brownies.

2. Melt the Butter

In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the unsalted butter. Once melted, remove from heat and allow it to cool slightly.

3. Combine Sugars

In a large mixing bowl, combine the granulated sugar and brown sugar. Pour the melted butter over the sugars and mix until well combined.

4. Add Eggs and Vanilla

Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract until fully incorporated.

5. Mix Dry Ingredients

In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, unsweetened cocoa powder, and salt until evenly mixed.

6. Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring just until combined. Be careful not to overmix.

7. Add Chocolate Chips

Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the batter.

8. Bake the Brownies

Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
